Using | Open User Profile | and | Open Settings Menu | as they appear in the Cheat Sheet results in an error: Input Must Be Set. Are there examples of how to use these correctly?

Avo Reid AFAIK Fitnesse isn't for opening menus like user profile or settings. You can try this approaches as per you requirement.1) Test user info directly like verify username, email etc.2) Test functionality behind settings like change values and see app behavior.
Not sure I understand your approaches, the UX elements have to be in the active DOM to change values etc., how do you navigate to settings to change the values?
You can’t access setting directly but by passing values for particular user to check behaviour of application. Ex:- Like you can access user timezone and pass that to your script to understand behaviour for that user.
So you are saying that using fitnesse there is no way to automate the testing of user profile information or settings information? There are UX components to navigate to these areas? Why would Fitnesse not enable this?
We had the same requirement in the past but didn't succeed. We found the above-mentioned alternative, which works partially. If you find another solution, let me know.
Thanks for your help I'll let you know if I find something that works.
