I would like to know how to configure/enable a shortcut in the Designer home page for " Access MySQL Database " and "Access System Logs ".

Attached a snapshot to depict exactly what I am referring to .

Does this need any changes in configuration file specific to the application ? I do not see it appear by default when Appian is installed so it seems like some additional settings are to be done ? Can anyone help me on how to achieve this ?...

Actually none of those two. Customizations fall in the scope of Appian Professional Services so if you needed help with requirements like this you can contact your account executive so he can get you in touch with Appian Professional Services Team.

Keep in mind customizing the base product is not recommended though.
