I would like to know how to configure/enable a shortcut in the Designer home page for " Access MySQL Database " and "Access System Logs ".
Attached a snapshot to depict exactly what I am referring to .
Does this need any changes in configuration file specific to the application ? I do not see it appear by default when Appian is installed so it seems like some additional settings are to be done ? Can anyone help me on how to achieve this ?...

Another option is to integrate phpMyAdmin (search for online documentation in Google) deployed in Apache with your MySQL instance and simply provide a link to the administrators so they can still access it, they won't have a link within Appian but at least they will still be able to use such functionality.
For the logs you could still build a custom plug-in.
