Is it possible to trigger/route tasks based on case filed data in Case Management Studio?

In Case Management Studio, tasks can be routed based on decision in decision type tasks and using dependent.

But I want to trigger/route from one task to other based on case field data. For example, if there is a case data field named "Amount", then I would like to route tasks based on the value of Amount filed. Is there any way to do this?

  • Hi Dipak, nowadays in your case Workflow you can add an Automation which can use rules based on conditions on field values and route accordingly to subsequent tasks.

    A more open-ended challenge I face is the dynamic assignment of a task to a different group based on a value. The automated case routing module handles this nicely for case types but nothing exists for task types.

    I am not sure what is best practice in that situation.
