I am using the group function to get the attributes related to the group
group(<groupId>, <property>)
I am using this in an interface used on my site.
But what I have come to notice is when logging into my site as a basic user, there seems to be an issue where in the user has insufficient privileges for group() function
Can anyone please help me in this ?

Typically this is an issue with group security setup.
Any way to avoid it ? coz this is the landing page of my site and the error seems to not go
Sure, you need to check and adjust the security settings of your groups.

Typically the problem is with "Visibility" and "Privacy".

Change the group visibility to "Public" in group properties.
