Hi there !
I have a form with 4 buttons, each one with a different value. When I click in any of them, the same value is saved in the node input / process variable.
Does anybody have faced this error before ? I tried deleting both: node input and process variable and saving in another one but the same thing happened.
Thanks !

Is this a standard form component or a SAIL component?

Tim,
I'm sorry I missed this information.
It's a standard form component.

Have you tried recreating the four buttons on a new process node in order to see if the behavior is the same?

Tim,
Just tried this right now and the behavior is not the same, it saves the value correctly.
I used the same configuration, even the same process variable. Do you know what could be happening ?
Thanks !

That is quite interesting. It is difficult to be certain what the cause is from the information so far. However, it could be possible that the node was not saved correctly and produced incorrect reference for the values. I would recommend recreating the node to resolve the issue.

Yes, I was afraid that this would be the only solution but was trying to solve before doing it as it will take some time. I hope exporting and importing the form in another node will solve the error.
Thanks for your help !

What about making a copy of the node before deleting and recreating from scratch?

Hi Paul !
I did this yesterday and didn't work, it seems like the export/import form and configuring a node from scratch is the only solution. After this atempt I will post here the result.
Thanks !

Unfortunately it didn't work. The only thing that changed is that now the value saved is different, but it's always the same.
I'm already thinking about building the whole form from the scratch, but it will be a very hard work and the problem could still appear.

Hi michelb. I've been in similar situations before.
For troubleshooting, did you try removing components from the form, one at a time (or whole sections if it's a large form)? Then test the change. It's a bit of trial and error but more often than not I find that the issue is to do with an 'faulty' rule on a field (eg. the rule has been deleted or is being called incorrectly).
Good luck!
