hi, the timestamps listed in the Appian log files and jBoss log files are recorded in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). But we want it to be consistent with server timezone setting. Where can we config this?...

Changing the time of the logs is not a best practice.

Adding -Duser.timezone to jboss startup script can change the timestamps of server.log and application-server.log, but not the gw* and db* logs which are configured in server\\_conf\\logging\\log.properties. any idea why they are different?

The server.log and application-server.log output are taken from JBoss. The gw* and db* logs are Appian specific, and are not affected by JBoss startup arguments. But as Eduardo mentioned, we do not recommend changing the timezone of the logs.

Also note that we clearly document that the timezone of the app server has to be in GMT for the product date/time manipulation to work properly.
