Not sure how to help you !?!? Based on your architecture, you might want to go into a sizing conversation with Appian and then just build what you need.

New notification system should manage triggers by monitoring integrated systems to capture any predefined events or actions that necessitate sending notifications while also auditing these events.
is it durable to Appian will monitor the integrated system ?

In general I would say: "Yes you can do that!"
For any more detailed answers we would need to understand what all this means.
300k customers can mean to send a single "notification" a day or 10 million.
"monitoring systems" can also mean so many things, same for "predefined events" and "necessary actions".
system need to send the notification but content will different for each individual Customers.
If we use MNI to achieve above requirement, does it impact performance bottlenecks ?
I do not see much of a challenge with this numbers, but still recommend to start a sizing conversation with Appian.
MNI in general is not evil, depending on how you use it. Starting 300k processes at the same time is not a good idea. Some sort of load management comes to my mind.
