    Design Brief for Insurance Suite Application (MVP)

    Project Overview

    Develop a web application for an insurance suite that empowers users to compare, buy, and manage insurance policies (health, motor, and life) online. This Minimum Viable Product (MVP) will focus on the essential features necessary for early launch, user adoption, and feedback gathering before iterating to a fully-featured platform.

    Target Audience

        Individual customers seeking insurance products.
        Small businesses needing insurance management solutions.
        Insurance agents facilitating policy sales.

    Business Goals

        Provide an easy-to-use, self-service insurance marketplace.
        Enable online comparison, purchase, and basic management of insurance policies.
        Establish a foundation for future enhancements, such as claims and advanced analytics.

    Core Features (MVP Scope)
    1. User Registration & Authentication

        Sign up with email/mobile number.
        Login/logout functionality.
        Password reset and verification workflows.

    2. Dashboard

        Personalized welcome after login.
        Quick view of active policies and pending applications.

    3. Product Catalog & Comparison

        List of available insurance products categorized as Health, Motor, Life.
        Product cards highlighting key features (coverage, tenure, premiums).
        Compare up to three policies side-by-side.

    4. Quotation Engine

        Collect user details through interactive forms.
        Present real-time or sample premium quotes.
        Allow saving and retrieval of quotes.

    5. Policy Purchase Workflow

        Guided, multi-step online application form.
        Upload necessary documents (e.g., ID, driving license).
        Payment integration (simulated or via selected providers).
        Instant digital confirmation of policy purchase.

    6. Policy Management

        View/download purchased policy documents.    
        Renew policy (notification only, actual transaction deferred).
        Update personal information (address/email/phone).

    7. Customer Support

        Contact form for support requests.
        Basic FAQ and help content.

    Integrations

        Simulated APIs for insurance products/quotes.
