Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!

The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.

Updating to New version

Hi All,

We are using 24.2 Appian version and trying to update to 25.3 version.

What are the perquisites to be checked to update Appian version and can we  backup version  if we required.

Thanks

Saidivya Minna

In addition to the recommendations above, I would suggest reviewing the release notes for any behavioral changes or deprecated features and performing the upgrade in a lower environment first. Before moving to production, validate critical business processes, Connected Systems, custom plug-ins, scheduled process models, and external integrations using a structured regression checklist. This approach helps identify compatibility issues early and minimizes deployment risk.
