Process Model Security and Process Instance Security
Hi,
We have given Process Administrator Rights to a group of Basic Users to CANCEL, PAUSE, RESUME and DELETE Process Instances for a particular Process Model. We have also made sure that the security is in the Process Model itself. This was working well before.
But now it has stopped working in DEV, QA and PROD.
Whenever a user wants to CANCEL, DELETE or PAUSE a Process Instance, he gets this message now "You do not have sufficient privileges to perform the requested action.".
The only change that I see that could have affected this was the change in our LDAP Plugin from LDAP to LDAP with Usernames.
But not sure. This works well for System Administrators.
What could have gone wrong? Any idea?
Again this was working well before....

Can you verify that the users are still in the Admin Rights group?

The user may not be available in Administrator group or
the usertype may be basicuser.

Yes..it is a basic user but a basic user with Process Admin Rights... The group has Process Admin Rights and the user is in that group. They can see all functions like Delete, Cancel, Resume, Edit, Monitor, Security in the reports but when they click on it, it gives an error as above...

we have the same requirement as mentioned. How can we allow basic user to delete process instances?I'm also getting the above error even though i set the user's right to administrator in the process security.
