I have process which has a link to a document in Appian, clicking the link does open the document. However when I search Appian knowledge base using that document id, I don't find anything.
The main issue is that in the process, when script task tries to get folder id based on document id, it returns null.
Any idea what is going on?

How are you searching the Knowledge Base? By Using the search box in the Documents tab in Designer? When using the document ID in that search box, results will not auto-populate like they do when searching by name. You'll need to hit the Enter button on the keyboard, which should provide a prompt to download the file.
If the document ID doesn't exist when you hit enter you'll get an error stating "The folder you requested is not available". Is this what you're seeing even with a valid doc ID?
