I am trying to access this url
127.0.0.1:8090/.../designer
but it says explorer can't display webpage. Even if i use 8080 I can see this error as well.
please help . I have started appian monitor, jboss standalone server ,

If the environment has started correctly, you should be able to log in at
SERVER_NAME:SERVER_PORT/.../design
where SERVER_NAME and SERVER_PORT are properties you have configured in your custom.properties file during installation. More detail here:

Check if you can access the tempo url ..
127.0.0.1:8090/.../tempo
. Check if the username has got only read permissions.

May I know which version of Appian you have installed. If its 7.9 you need to start Appian services, Search server, Jboss server (sequence wise).
Check jboss server console to verify if all the services are started successfully.

I would recommend using a fully qualified domain name instead of your loop back ip address. 127.0.01. If you need this to work offline, you can set a fqdn to point to your loopback ip in your host file c:\\windows\\system32\\etc
