(Appian 7.9) Is there a way to export several applications at the same time for backup? They should export as individual zip files so that when a need arises we can import only the required applications. The default 'Select All' -> 'Export' exports all selected applications by merging them together.

AFAIK to create individual packages for each application, you will need to perform the exports separately, since as you mentioned the export only creates one package.

No. Currently the "Export" button merges applications in a single ZIP as you indicated. There's no option to export individual applications at once. It has to be done one by one.
