I have exposed the Appian process model as a webservice.
This webservice has to be given to SOA layer.
Do we need to do any configuration settings so that it works properly.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly but once you publish it as a web service, clicking on that web service (System tab) will show you the WSDL URL that you'll have to use to call it. That's all you need.

Thank you Eduardo !! So my understanding is when we publish the process model as webservice..it can be directly used by another integration platform. We do-not need to set any properties in appian layer

When SOA calls the Appian wsdl ,it asks for authentication. Where do we setup the authentication.

You need to pass the credentials of an existing user in Appian (e.g. a service account you create). The password is the Appian password not LDAP's
