New feature 'Add patch to Application' allows no more than one patch to be created. Also, patch is lost, once its deployed in target environment. Is there a way to ensure version control for applications with this. For now we create new patch each release.

I'm still forced to use the old method as well - creating a new application for each patch. As patch contents are not stored across sessions, if the patch takes more than 1 day/session to build, you are either forced to record each item modified or create a new application for each patch. When patches can easily require 15-20+ items, creating a new application is the easiest way to go. I will be looking forward to some enhancements in this area as well.
