What does the error message "Active with Tasks Cancelled by Exception?"

What does the error message "Active with Tasks Cancelled by Exception?" means. I have a parent process that doesn't show up as Active or Paused or Completed because of this status?

It means there was an error in the process, currently waiting for resolution. Review the Alerts and process dashboard for more details.
