Cant we have 2 different aps for two set of groups??? If not, what is the workar

You can only set one application as the default. However, you can control what applications a user in a group can see / access from the drop down with the security settings around the applications: forum.appian.com/.../Application_User_Rights

You can even expand upon that and create an app that all users have access to. Then, using the "home page" of that default app, you can provide links (conditionally) to the apps they have access to (along with descriptions, etc) using intuitive URLs (forum.appian.com/.../Quick_Links_Using_Intuitive_URLs).

However, if you are using a version with tempo as the main portal, this might not be necessary, as the users will access the actions they have permission to use, news events showing process data, etc creating one unified interface for all their needs.

Chris, thanks for the response. We are sending an intuitive url of the application, for the user in a email body! This takes him directly to the desired application and we have blocked him from seeing other apps.!!
