Is it possible to edit a "published-disabled" process model? A problem

Is it possible to edit a "published-disabled" process model? A problem was discovered with a process model after it has been published. We have now fixed the problem with a new version of the process model, but we wanted to fix the "old" process model for the processes created on that model....
