Hi,
Is there a customization setting on Tempo Interface by which a link/Tab can be displayed on the UI? AFAIK, New Tab can not be placed on the Tempo Interface. (There are only OOTB Tabs provided by Appian).
Can we put a link on the Tempo which will open a external link? If it is not possible, Is there any way to have a functionality in Appian to allow display of External link without generating a Task. (Because generating a task to merely display a link would not be best approach)
Thanks

Hi sreerajm, you can use "Task Report" and this report will be shown under "Tasks" tab in the tempo. So if you display a link on this task report then user can able to access it.

Hi Sreerajm,
As you said, you have to display a link on Tempo (Probably, it is going to be static one), then creating a task for it would not be best approach. In fact then Task report would not be best one as well.
AFAIK, Tempo UI can not have a new Tab added in the Interface. The existing Tabs are the OOTB provided by Appian.
About the link option - Can check with Admin guys OR Appian Team if such customization can be done or not.
Thanks

May be you could also try creating a Tempo Report that always has this link! Though this uses an entire dashboard, might still skip creating a separate process/task each time !

Are you likely to have a number of external links? You could have a report that contains a list of those links?

Thanks all for the information -
What I needed is, a static link (which should open external link on the browser) either on header or footer of the Tempo UI.
Can we have a setting (either from front end OR server side) to set the header/footer items?
Thanks

No, that's not currently possible.
