I am using an additional sender to the From list on the Setup tab of the Send Email Smart Service. It is working perfectly.
Now I am trying to configure a constant as the custom email sender; using a custom configuration file email-address-config-custom.xml.
Basically I only changed the file email-address-config-custom.xml.
<address name="addPlateRequest">
<expression>=toemailaddress(user(cons!MYCONSTANT, "email"))</expression>
</address>
The custom sender (addPlateRequest ) keeps popping up in the From: dropdown in the Setup tab, but when I change the constant value the smart service still sending the email using the old sender.
Btw, I stopped /started Jboss and Appian.
Am I forgetting something?

A random thought, by any chance, are the email addresses for the two users that is the old sender and the new sender the same?

You need to republish your process models.Select Process from the Email sending node options save and publish your process model,then again
configure your email setup tab and select your custom email sender and again publish your process model.
