Hi All, whenever we make changes to some rules/expression the changes are not immediately visible in the UI when we check. Ex: when we add a new text field in the interface rule, we do not see it immediately. Sometimes it takes time to reflect and sometime it does not reflect after long time also.

is there any issue with the APPIAN engines or will JVM restart help?

Could be a browser cache. You can try a "hard refresh" with ctrl+F5

Couple questions. What version of Appian? Does your rule call other rules (which is the one you are actually changing)?

Additionally I get alerts like the following -

1. Error evaluating function 'toxml' : The function 'toxml' is unavailable.) (Data Inputs)
2. Error evaluating function 'queryruleexec' : The function 'queryruleexec' is unavailable.) (Logic Output)

Issue got resolved. There was some issue with the search server setting in the custom property file.
