Hi,

Regarding changing the parameter server.conf.exec.AUTOARCHIVE_DELAY (forum.appian.com/.../Managing_Process_Archives.html), I need to know what instances will be affected of the new value of the parameter:
- all completed process instances OR
- all process instances, completed and active OR
- all new process instances that start after the modification of the parameter OR
- all new process instances for a process model that start after you republish that process model ?

Hi George,

It affects all new process instances that start after the modification of the parameter. Note that this is applicable only if the process models are not configured with any other option (meaning only if the first option in the data management tab of the process model properties).

After you change the parameter and finish your restarts, open up any of your process models and go to the data management tab under process model properties. The first option should have the new value which you've set in custom.properties.
