How does Appian intend to integrate seamlessly with payment gateways such as pay

How does Appian intend to integrate seamlessly with payment gateways such as paypal etc, i.e Customer performs a transaction within Appian which requires a payment through a payment gateway, upon a successful payment, the customer is redirected back to specific form/task/site in Appian? Or is there anyone who has a solution to this already? Thanks.

Not sure if this meets your requirements. Stripe(Similar to Paypal used for making payments) does have a rich set of java API using which you could create a smart service or expression functions. Please find the library here stripe.com/.../libraries. I was able to make payments from Appian Forms and get the response back.
