What's involved in switching from the Appian data source to our existing DB

What's involved in switching from the Appian data source to our existing DB as a data source for an existing application? What are the steps? How are running processes to be switched over, etc?

You should be able to export relevant data from the Appian database into your on premise database. If this requires a new datasource connection then you can request it via a support case. Running process instances will not be impacted by this switch
