I've tried my own way of making the pickerFieldCustom() function work and then I switched to using example given here.

forum.appian.com/.../SAIL_Recipes.html

However, results are still not shown when I type anything in the pickerFieldCustom() component.

Any suggestions on what should be done differently?

After going step by step from the link I've provided above, I'm still not getting any results back when you look for auto completion in the pickerFieldCustom component.
