Good Afternoon,
I am using the nodes MS Word 2007 Doc from Template flowing into Pdf From Docx.
When my document uses the Word template and creates the docx file it renders perfectly (as the template should look) however when it gets converted to Pdf the layout changes and borders are either missing or faint and the text size changes.
Does anybody know how i can get this node to generate the documnet just how the docx looks like?
As a test i tried to use a 3rd party app outside of Appian which converts docx to pdf and this renders perfectly which points me to believe it is the node itself.
Thanks in advance...

Is this the one that uses Open Office? I'd say it's useful but I wouldn't use it in a production application. OO is on the decline and converting docx files can be difficult. Like yourself we moved ahead with integrating with a 3rd party java library and have had perfect results.

It uses Microsoft 2007 and 2010 and generating the docx is perfect. It just seems that when it tries to convert the documnt to a PDF it doesnt render layout, font or borders correctly. Strange

For converting DOC to PDF I wrote a plugin using the components from Aspose. This works very good for us. The plugin from shared components uses OO for conversion which is no solution you want on production as Tim said.
