there is a process that has a rule once it starts to trigger only when a date value is less than now() i.e past date , the process starts check and find that the date is later than now so it stops .(attached screen)
then few days later when the rule should be triggered nothing happens and the rule just show green , after several refresh trials nothing happens
why do similar rules fail to execute ?

Just adding to skinadard comments try doing that timer check in subprocess so that it can be used for easily.
