Does anyone know if its possible to host Appian in a stateless infrastructure?

Does anyone know if its possible to host Appian in a stateless infrastructure? I know that session cookies are required for log in however, if all users were using SSO/LDAP are sessions still needed ?

If it is a stateless web server, then this should work as long as you only have a single app server. Otherwise the web server will need a session if there are multiple app servers in order to route traffic correctly.
