I don't believe there's a specific restriction with the version of RedHat, or see why there would be. Specific versions of Windows are mentioned here - forum.appian.com/.../System_Requirements.html - but not Linux, so I would read this as "any version". There are certainly a few package prerequisites, though, to run MySQL, JBoss etc.
