If we are planning to store a document to a specific location of a system from Appian cloud, which would be the best approach. We have windows services hosted on the same server, so we had thought of uploading the document in Appian UI and pass it to a web service and store it from the web service to the machine'd hard disk. But services team suggests not to do so as the file size may cause issues. We are targeting a file of max size 2.5 to 3MB.
Thanks In Advance.

If my understanding is correct, the files are currently on an environment in the Appian Cloud, and you want to move these into your internal network, but your internal team has raised some concerns regarding this? If that is correct, it seems that the best way forwards would be to work with your services team regarding their preferred method for importing the files.

what they say is to create a, say web page on the same server for uploading the file and in turn store it there. But to do so, we will have to have a link from Appian to that page where on clicking on this link would open the web page. But for that, we will again have to have the security and other stuff set up.
