This is not integrated but can be done using the browser.

So, the behavior seems inconsistent and kind of finicky across the browsers:
1) Chrome: works the best, but focus-only
2) Mozilla: works only for paragraph fields, does not seem to work for text fields
3) IE: needed to download an add-on dictionary. Also, works only for paragraph fields. However, if you focus out of the field, and focus back in and start typing, spell check only works for text typed in the latest focus. Text fields don't work.
Any suggestions to make IE work like Chrome?
Thanks!

What version of Appian? There was a recent hotfix that disabled spellcheck due to a memory leak by Microsoft. That was fixed in the most recent hotfix.

Appian 7.8. I see Hotfix J, but the only Windows related fix pertains to:
"AN-59700 - High - Due to an incompatibility between Java 8 and Sigar, a native library for collecting system metrics on Windows, that library has been removed and some system and disk usage metrics are no longer available on the Windows platform in this release. The installation instructions below include a step that removes this library."

AN-65301: Low
The built-in browser spelling correction capability for Internet Explorer 11 is now re-enabled. This was previously disabled in Appian 7.8 Hotfix Package H to avoid an Internet Explorer bug. See the following page for more information:
