I assume you are referring to embedded SAIL. Even with no single-signon, to enable tasks/related action, hope you have added your website host in admin. check if the user/grp invoking the related action have security privileges to view the related action.

Hope you are using this before trying the embedded sail

Please check CORS entry with trusted server details on Admin console and make sure your IE pointing to Edge version. You can debug much from IE developer mode.
