@kaushikr AFAIK there isn't any such OOTB feature or Shared Component available so far.
Just to let you know, a similar component to what you have asked for - 'Get Application Groups' at https://forum.appian.com/suite/tempo/records/type/components/item/i8BCLGOdlMUpdGVqT-RV7oRg74uEGJO5ycR0HHF-pz1a4_u_g4GxR-w6CWqzqXW1A/view/summary will return you the Group objects associated with a particular application.

I am confused by your question. As a designer user go to /design. Open the application of interest. Use filters on the left to show only the objects you want.

@philb Correct, even I too understood the same. Because the way to explore the objects using Application Designer is already mentioned in the Documentation.
I guess the question is about finding out the Appian objects information associated with an application object, that is, similar to the output of the plugin as mentioned above.

While there isn't any OOTB functionality to accomplish this, maybe you can download the application and pattern-match its XML.

Better question: what is your use case? Why do you need to programmatically get a list of objects in an app?

Since this is for analysis purposes I agree with Harry to do this analysis on exported app xmls.
