Have you ever left old rules in your application because you were afraid of what would happen if you deleted them?
Starting in 7.9, it's easy in Appian Designer to identify whether an object can be safely deprecated. Simply select it in the application designer or Objects view, and click Dependents. If the only objects that appear are applications, you can be sure that no functionality will change if you deprecate that object. (If you're confident that no running processes are using it in Production, you can also delete it.)

Yes. From 7.9 onwards,I am using this method only to ensure that there are no dependents for a rule before cleaning it. Thanks for the tip!
