Remove a feed from the catalog

Question

What happens when a Feed is removed from the Catalog? Are all users automatically unsubscribed from that Feed? What about events that have already been posted to that Feed? I assume that all participants in those events will still be able to see them -- is this correct? Can anyone provide an example of a use case where a Feed should not be listed in the Catalog?

Listing a feed in the catalog makes it available for general subscription. Removing a feed from the catalog should not have any impact other than this (ie users should still be subscribed and able to see past entries in the feed).

You may not wish to list a feed in the catalog if you don't want users to be able to subscribe themselves, eg for some automated feeds.
