I am looking for any component to parse a word document uploaded in the task. I want to read and store the content of file along with formatting like Bold, Underline etc. in a process variable to be used while sending email as body of email.

AFAIK there is no out of box component available to do this. You can create a smart-service using Apache POI HWPF for .doc and XWPF for .docx files to read text from documents.

Additionally I would advise not to store such large values in pvs or you will see very large memory growth in the engines.
