Tempo Reports operate in a different UI and backend architecture from Portal Reports, allowing data in Tempo Reports to be sourced from any data source and UI designed and delivered via Appian SAIL for multiple devices and interfaces.

A number of helper functions are in the works, including one to more easily display a portal report as a Tempo Report. These will be made available on Appian Forum as a pluggable Shared Component in the coming weeks. We will also be scheduling a number of Tips and Tricks webinars throughout May, June, and July to help designers learn the new interfaces.
