I am using the 'DOCX Merge' to merge some Word documents, but want to add header and footer in (as per the client request the logo in header and page numbers in footer should be added to the document). Is there any way to do this pro grammatically? or any alternative achieve this?

Amit, the shared components on Forum come as is. As stated on the Dynamic Document Generation page: "If a header or footer exists in any document, they will be removed during the merge process."

The alternative to this would be to create your own plug-in. You could also try contacting James Carter, the creator of the plug-in, to see what he can do for you.

Hi Jacob - thanks for the post. Is there an updated version of this plugin for 18.1 environments? We are facing an issue where merging multiple word docs is removing Headers/Footers from the source files.

We are using the 'DOCX Merge' to merge word documents. The individually generated word documents have header, footer and watermark. However, when DOCX Merge merging these documents it is ignoring the header, footer and watermarks. The same issue Amit Mishra faced. Amit, were you able to resolve the issue. Can you or someone help resolving the issue? We use DOCX from Dynamic template to generate these individual documents.
