Hi All,
I have given the viewer security for data store and deny to query rule. But when I try to access the data from DB I will get data but as per the given security user doesn't have privilege to fire the query rule right?
Any suggestions please...
Thanks in advance.

@yaswanthreddya I am not 100% sure about your intention but isn't it that a user with Deny access has the privilege to evaluate the rule? Reference: 'Security' section at
forum.appian.com/.../Query_Rules.html
.

Deny is not specific to query rule or query entity , it is in respect to a user.

@Yaswanth. As they have said above, "Deny" permission is with respect to a user or group of users. If you want to restrict that query rule to be used by none, you can set the security on the Query rule to Deny for the group of users whom you want to restrict. Others by default will have no access !

You are right if you give deny privilege to an user, he/she will not be able to fetch any data through application.
