How to handle dynamic behavior in a generated PDF document

Question

I have a requirement to generate PDF document from PDF Template. The PDF document has check box fields for which the selection and deselection of the check box has to be determined dynamically through process. I know to handle the check boxes selection dynamically in word document using OOXML. Please suggest me if there is any similar approach for PDF as well.

This is a fairly straightforward requirement. If you have a PDF Editor (like Adobe Acrobat Pro) you should be able to add a checkbox in the pdf template and configure the "export" value to whatever you want to pass when you want the checkbox to be selected.

@sudharanid - it is simple. As Gaurav already pointed out, all you need is a tool like Adobe Acrobat Pro. Open your template, go to checkbox Properties and there you have the Options tab. You can set an export value there. This is the value that would be sent from Appian to set the field.
