We are looking into using Appian for a document management solution, and I'm trying to put together a proof of concept. I see that the Create New Version smart service has been deprecated in 16.2.

How do you create a new version of a document using either a SAIL Interface, or a Process Model?

In SAIL interface, You can use file upload component to do this functionality but make sure that "target" property should be a old document reference.
