Hi @garym - is the below expression able to get the data in ?

Also, if you have an access to server logs, you can see whats the logs there when you run your expression which is failing above - that would give some detailed error description.

If my above stated expression works for you, then some of the query filters isn't working or is a problem.

Looks like ur queryEntity by default fetch all the data without any filter condition which is large amount of data is getting fetched which gives the error u mentioned.

Two things:

1)Apply any filter conditon by default which should fetch the data from Database
2)if above works then try using pagingInfo (1,-1) which should not wrk

Then there is no issue on DB.

Let me know the below queries..

1) Is data is fetched from Table or View ??

@siddharthg837 - Thanks, I will check the logs. The expression is being used for a search button on the form so a user will input the criteria and click a Search button which should retrieve data and put it into a grid.

The interface calling this interface already uses pagingInfo when calling this one. Does that matter?

There might be a possibility of data type mismatch between XSD and view. Could you please check and let us know....

Also, if the ID field is not unique, it will throw errors. You may have duplicate values for ID field.

In case you haven't figured it out yet I have one suggestion.
I've encountered same error yesterday, I was using a!queryEntity on a view, it turned out that my problem wasn't in the SAIL code, but in the sql snippet which I was using to create the view, I recreated the view using quotes in column names like this "columnName" and after that it worked fine.
I admit that I haven't gone through your sail expression.

I think it may be something going on with the view being used. When I do a select * on it from a utility such as toad or SQL plus, it takes a long time to retrieve records. I believe it may be timing out for some reason
