Text File Generation

I am creating a text file with the multiple pipe delimiter data. When the file is created it is not storing the data one by one like -
ABC|DEF||GJI
123|435|235

I am getting the output like - ABC|DEF||GJI 123|435|235
However when I open the same file with NPP, Excel or CSV format is it displaying properly.

Have you tried adding "chr(13)&chr(10)" to break between lines e.g. "ABC|DEF|GJI"&chr(13)&chr(10)&"123|435|235"
