Transient CDT

Hi all,
I have a nested cdt with a Transient annotation and I am getting the attached error when creating a new version from xsd. It is not necessary for the data to be persisted to any RDBMS.
Any help is appreciated.

You wrote that the data is NOT persisted to DB. But this error looks like you have a datastore that actually contains this data type.

It is not necessary to be persisted. I don't want it to be, and I don't want the tables to appear in the database.

OK, then just do not add it to a datastore.

The datastore contains the parent cdt, but I do not want the child to show up.

Then you have to remove it from the parent CDT.

I think that the @Transient annotation does not work when the field in question is a complex type. I would recommend opening a support case to confirm that.

@rachelz290 instead of attaching child cdt to parent, just add the child id as a numeric property in parent cdt then there will not be any change in child related data in DB
