Encryption of Data

Hi All,
How can we make sure that the data in process & KDB is Encrypted? Also, if we store that data to DB, will it be encrypted as well?

You can use full-disk encryption. For specific pieces of data, you can also use the Encrypted Text data type:

It may also be helpful to review the SAIL recipe here:

One more question, if we use Encrypted text Data, will that save encrypted value in K database as well as backend DB (SQL/ Oracle)? if not, how can make sure that we can save encrypted data in both? Also, if we don't want to change the existing models, then how can we make sure that we can store data in encrypted format in k databases & backend DB without changing any existing flow or data type?

Yes, if you use the encrypted text data type, it will be encrypted in both locations.
If there are specific fields that you want to encrypt using the encrypted text data type, you will need to change the data type of those fields to encrypted text.
