Quick App referencing existing database

When creating a Quick Application, it's creating it's own database and tables. How can I cause it to use an existing database? I'm using Appian Version 16.3

AFAIK, each Quick App generates a new set of design objects and database tables.

In order to use existing Database login as "Appian Administrator" and navigate to "System--->Permissions" and configure the Database as data source for "Quick Apps Data Source" under "Quick Apps" section.
As mentioned by abhinav, new tables will be created.
