SAML - .PEM Certicate issue

Could anyone suggest how to resolve the SAML Configuration issue. We are getting "Invalid IdP Metadata file" when we try add the metadata in Appian admin Page for SAM configuration.
We have got the .pfx formatted certificate and we have converted into .pem
Please suggest how to resolve issue.

You need to upload .pem certificate(sometimes converting a .pfx to .pem doesn't help, so please obtain .pem) under "Service Provider Signing Certificate". If SAML console prompts for certificate password, you need to provide that. Once done, Appian console will provide you a link for SP metadata, download and generate your IDP Metadata.xml file with help of SP metadata. Upload this IDP.xml file under "Identity provider metadata".
