State(value of a variable) retention for undoing
Dastagiri Dudekula

How can I implement undoing the action in Appian without persisting the data?
Example: I would like to add a grid field to grid. If I want to delete field should be deleted and again if I want it back, it can be doable.

If I understand correctly you would like to add/remove rows from a grid.
Hopefully this will help.

This can be done in SAIL by having local or rule input variables to hold the initial states of the variables you're working with. You can then have an "Undo" button or link somewhere on the form that saves the initial state variables back into the variables you are manipulating.
