i want to validate a!fileUploadField If there are multiple files in the .zip file after i hit Submit button and present an error to the user,if it is more than one file .the problem is how i can drill down the Zip file and check how may files are within the zip folder before processing .
Any help is appreciated!

Maybe you could upload the file, unzip the file using a plugin, count the files, and then return an error if there's more than one? There's a plugin for unzipping here -
forum.appian.com/.../summary
This solution might be rather slow for the user, though...

@sefenez Also here is a post at
forum.appian.com/.../f-201480
which would be helpful just in case if you want to bring the zip contents into Appian.

I agree with philb that a plugin would do the trick. Getting the number of entries shouldn't be too slow, though. Check
docs.oracle.com/.../ZipFile.html
, which gives you exactly what you need.
